Interviews
Most of the interviews you conduct via Carv will be automatically linked to a candidate, meaning the candidate you spoke to will have that interview data in their Carv profile as soon as you wrap up the conversation. In case you had an interview that was not automatically linked to a candidate, you have two options:
1. From the interview meeting
- Visit the interview meeting’s page, and click the “Link candidate” button.
- Type in the candidate’s email address
- If Carv finds your candidate in our system (or your ATS) already, we will immediately link the interview to this candidate
- If Carv doesn’t find any current candidates matching the email address, then Carv will create a candidate & immediately link the interview to this candidate.
2. From the candidate’s profile page
- Visit the candidate’s profile page
- Click the “Add” button on the meetings section of the page
- Search for the interview meeting
- Select the correct interview from the search results and click “Continue”
- That’s it! The interview is now linked to your candidate.
Other source materials
Interviews are a crucial part of understanding a candidate, but usually you need more information (resumes, assessments, etc) to get a full picture of a candidate and whether or not they are a fit for your vacancy.
You can upload as many materials as you see fit to a candidate’s profile in Carv. Follow these steps to add your materials to a candidate:
Visit the candidate’s profile page
Scroll to the sources section of the page and click “Add”
You’ll see you have a few options: uploading the candidate’s resume, the job description of the vacancy they applied for, and a third “Other documents” section
