Onboarding to Carv

To start to use Carv, you will sign up via app.carv.com. The initial product onboarding screens guide you through the 3 steps in the onboarding process:

1. Sign up to Carv.

  • You can use your existing email provider to sign in, Carv has options to use all main providers: Google, Apple and Microsoft.

  • Or, you can continue with email. We will ask you to provide your email address and set a password for Carv. As part of this onboarding process, you will have to verify the email address you signed up with. You will receive a confirmation email in your inbox with a link to verify your email. Once this link is clicked, you get redirected to the sign up flow.

2. Set up your workspace.

  • Start by providing a workspace name. This will create your personal Carv workspace.

  • To start collaborating with your colleagues in your new workspace, you can send invites via the optional invite functionality.

3. Connect your calendar and set calendar preferences.

  • You’ll need to connect Carv to your Google or Microsoft calendar to make sure Carv can find and join your online meetings.

  • After you’ve connected your calendar, you can set a recording preference. You can always find your calendar and recording settings under ‘Settings’ in Carv. You have the option for Carv to:

    • Join all meetings

    • Join external meetings only

    • Join only meetings where you are the host

    • Or skip, set up later / do not allow Carv to join meetings automatically

4. When you’ve gone through the three steps prior, you’ll be taken to Carv 🎉
