If you're recording the Zoom meetings you host with Carv, you can now connect your Zoom account to your Carv account. Carv will then record your hosted Zoom meetings automatically, even if you cannot attend the meeting yourself!
Connecting your Zoom account
Log in to Carv
Open the Settings page
Navigate to the Account tab
Scroll down to the “Zoom account” option
Click “Connect account”. At this stage, you will be directed to Zoom
If you are not already logged into you Zoom account, you'll need to log in
Click "Allow" at the bottom of the screen
At this point, you'll be redirected back to Carv, where you will see that your Zoom account has been successfully connected to your Carv account
From this point forward, Carv will be able to record the Zoom meetings you host, without requiring you first to click "Allow Recording". This means that even when you do not attend a Zoom meeting, if you are the host and have your Zoom account connected to Carv, Carv will still be able to record the call.
Removing your Zoom account
Log in to Carv
Open the Settings page
Navigate to the Account tab
Scroll down to the “Zoom account” option
Click “Disconnect"
Click "Confirm" on the confirmation modal
You will get a message that your Zoom account has been disconnected, and Carv will no longer record your hosted Zoom meetings automatically. Instead, you will start to see the record request modal again, and have to click "Allow Recording" for each Zoom meeting you host that you would like Carv to record.
